What Is a Retreat Experience?

A retreat is a conscious pause from daily life - a space for rest, reflection, inner renewal. Unlike a vacation, it offers time in nature, guided practices & a supportive environment for reconnecting with yourself and others.
Inspired by ancient Amazonian traditions, these experiences focus on harmony, intention, music, and connection with nature. A Retreat is a personal growth journey, not medical or psychological treatment, where each participant follows their own unique process.

How is Indigenous wisdom integrated into a modern context?

A Retreat is a conscious pause from everyday life - a journey created for rest, reflection & inner reset. Unlike a regular vacation, a retreat combines time in nature, a structured program of practices, and guidance from experienced facilitators in a safe and supportive environment.

Focused on cleansing the body and mind from stress and destructive patterns, reconnecting different aspects of the self into a unified whole, exploring inner integrity, and entering deep meditative states. The Retreat is support work with personal talents, connection with nature & the elements, time for release, processing and maybe transformation of heavy energies, and the development of a harmonious vision of one’s life path.

Participants step away from daily stress and distractions to reconnect with themselves, their body, and the natural world. The space is designed for slowing down, self-exploration & meaningful connection with like-minded people.

The method is inspired by ancient Amazonian practices and traditional knowledge that have been passed down through generations. These traditions emphasize harmony with nature, community, prayer, music, and intentional ceremonial space.
A retreat is not a medical treatment or psychotherapy. It is a personal and spiritual development experience where each person is responsible for their own process and insights.

In the Indigenous traditions of the Amazonia, people practiced these states for generations during sitting in the jungle on the ceremony, and Shipibo knowledge was traditionally transmitted orally. Only recently has it become possible to write and share these teachings in written form. Even today, the Shipibo people are numbering around 60,000 - do not have a written form of their language, their knowledge continues to be passed on through direct practice, songs, and oral transmission.

Interaction with the guiding plant within the traditional dieta is supported by the surrounding natural environment - engagement with the elements, spirits, trees, the sea and the mountains.
Herbal practices and ceremonial space cleansing under the stars support energetic, physical and mental balance, opening the way to completely new inner states.
